How do I take a moderated study?

You may receive a study invitation for a moderated study.

Moderated studies involve a moderator, most commonly a researcher, to mediate and guide you throughout the study. You may be one-on-one with the moderator or with the moderator and a group of other participants.

You’ll join a virtual meeting with the moderator and possibly be asked to share your screen.  (You may need to call into the meeting too.) The moderator will interact with you as you work through and complete the study.

Moderated study sessions will be scheduled in advance. It is vital that you show up on time. You’ll likely receive multiple reminders leading up to your scheduled session.
Due to the nature of moderated studies, compensation is often higher than $10 (USD). The specific amount will be indicated in the study invitation email.
