What is IntelliZoom and how does it work?
IntelliZoom is the participant community of UserZoom, a user experience research agency dedicated to helping companies make better products and create a seamless customer journey. We empower companies to develop compelling human experiences by understanding customers better than they understand themselves.
We leverage design thinking to help our clients gain a competitive edge by developing solutions that drive customer engagement holistically.
We're a global team with offices in Europe and the United States. Currently, our team of researchers, engineers and designers are headquartered in downtown San Jose, CA. We're all united by a simple goal: making digital products awesome to use.
How does it work?
Our customers want to make their websites and applications better, and they want opinions from all different types of people. We invite you to different studies based on your demographic information — factors like your age, where you live, and so on. Your information never gets beyond UserZoom and our customers. We do not sell or offer your information to the public — ever.
Before you get started, you'll need to complete a couple of practice studies. We want you to get the hang of this whole testing thing before you start participating in clients’ studies. We also need to verify that your computer, phone, and/or tablet meet our minimum requirements and work properly. Practice studies are not eligible for pay, but we keep them short and sweet to make sure you can start getting paid as quickly as possible.
During a study, we record three things: your face (through your webcam), your voice (through your device’s microphone), and your screen, whether it belongs to a laptop, a smartphone, or a tablet.
Sounds great! Time to get rich from my couch!
We wish it were that easy, but not so fast! IntelliZoom is looking for everyday people’s thoughts and opinions. Professional usability testers need not apply. We won't bombard you with studies, but we will pass around as many opportunities as possible.
How will I be notified of new studies?
As studies become available, we will notify you via email. We fill studies on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you want to participate, you should act as soon as possible — studies fill up quickly! If you don’t want to participate, you don’t have to notify us. We promise to not get offended.
